A family owned and operated campground, Griffin Island Campground is located on Douglas Lake within the city limits of Sevierville. Sevierville is just north of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Griffin Island is a 32-acre property.
The campground is secluded and wooded, with RV sites that offer full hook-ups. There are tent sites available as well. In addition, there are fully equipped RVs, complete with air conditioning, available for rent.
There at two decks located along Douglas Lake for campers to enjoy. An added convenience includes pontoon and paddleboat rentals. There are picnic areas that are complete with pavilions, grills and tables. Griffin Island consists of the island and a mainland area.

Paddleboat rentals are $20 per day, while pontoon boat rentals are $40 per hour plus tax and fuel used. Rental prices for the pontoon boat are lower if you rent the boat in four-hour, eight-hour or 10-hour increments. Launch your own boat from the campground’s concrete boat launch for $7.
